There’s another first for the club this weekend as we host the Meath Intermediate Football Championship clash between Ballinabrackey and Trim.
On late Sunday afternoon all roads will lead to St. Finian’s Park, Clonard for the 6pm throw-in. It promises to be a gripping match with both clubs having an eye on the Mattie McDonnell cup come September.
It’s part of a very important weekend for the club as our Junior team take on Carnaross in the first round of the junior championship on Saturday. This also promises to be a great game between both of last years beaten semi-finalists.
Best of luck to our own lads on Saturday and to both visiting clubs to Clonard on Sunday.
