St. Patrick’s night promises to be an exciting one as over thirty brave individuals and first time boxers from Clonard and neighbouring Broadford/Clogherinkoe take to the boxing ring in a novel fundraising event for both clubs and communities.
The participants undertake six weeks of intensive training, provided by professional boxing coaches, and are then paired against their opponent for their bout on the night.
For anyone that has not attended a white-collar boxing event previously we have to say that this is an extremely professionally well-run event, every detail is looked after including the coaching, each boxer’s chosen walk-out song, the management of the each bout and rounds, and the layout of the event on the night.
Each boxer will be introduced to you over the next four weeks on our Facebook event page and most of them will be well known to all of you. This is going to be a wonderful night, enjoyed in an electric atmosphere so make sure you support them and don’t miss it!
Tickets are on sale from the boxers, committee members, and online at the link below.
