Our Under 8s and Under 10s played their final games on O'Donovans field as the transition to the new facilities in St. Finian's Park happens over the next few weeks. Boardsmill had the honour of being their last opponents on this field, competing in very enjoyable games on a sunny Saturday morning.

The rain threatened at times but stayed off, not that anything would dampen these children's enthusiasm and enjoyment of football.

While training will continue there on Wednesday nights, their next home fixture will be in 3 or 4 weeks, and with goalposts going up in St. Finian's Park next week, we'll be in our new home for that fixture.

The current field has served us well and there's been many hours of wonderful football, enjoyment, laughter, and the odd few tears, but the modern facilities will be another great boost for the club.
